SWNN Membership Information

SWNN does not discriminate based on race, creed, gender, age, marital status, sexual orientation, political opinions or national origins. We do support a wholesome family atmosphere, and our members are expected to refrain from using illegal drugs and to exercise moderation in alcohol use. Our guidelines and bylaws cover common sense considerations such as a requirement that permission is obtained before anyone's photo is taken. Overt public sexual activity at any of our events is absolutely forbidden, no less than it would be outside our organization. Our mailing list is kept strictly private so our members do not need to worry about unwanted solicitations or other irritations.

SWNN charges an annual membership fee of only $20 per person; we ask an additional $5 for the photo ID membership card, which is good for two years, and suggest that members make additional contributions as they are able each year to help cover expenses. There are no fees for children under 18. Our small membership fees help cover postage and publishing expenses,  special event costs, educational workshops, and other assorted expenditures throughout the year.

Any donation amount helps to further public education on the benefits of Nude Recreation and Body Acceptance.

National Organizations

SWNN is affiliated with the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) and endorses and is supportive of the goals and guidelines of The Naturist Society (TNS).  We join with these organizations in advocating the right to use public areas for nude recreation throughout the U.S. and the rest of the world. Membership in TNS includes a subscription to the quarterly Nude & Natural magazine, a must-read naturist publication.  As an affiliate of the American Association for Nude Recreation, and we recommend that you join that organization through SWNN to receive discounted membership rates.

Membership with AANR includes their publication, The Bulletin, which is an essential part of the educational process for Naturists everywhere.

A SWNN, TNS and/or AANR membership card is sufficient to allow you to gain entrance to most nudist resorts, often at a discounted rate on gate and day fees. Although membership with AANR is not a requirement of SWNN Membership, we highly encourage joining or renewing your AANR memberships through SWNN.

Visitors

Visitors may attend three SWNN events without becoming a member. The non-member may attend either as the guest of a member, or by making prior arrangements with our office. Write to us via email or postal mail with the best phone number to reach you, and a SWNN member will call you back. Extensive grilling will NOT be in order. We merely want to make sure you understand what we are all about and that you have a sincere interest in naturism. Gawkers are not welcome as visitors or members. People who are unsure of their interest in naturism, but would like to learn a little more or explore the possibilities are very welcome. SWNN is a clothing-optional organization. You will not be required to go nude to join us, nor will you be pressured to do so. You will be free to dress or undress to your own level of comfort.

How Do I get more Information?

When possible, we also offer occasional Introduction Seminars and Workshops that the public is invited to attend where you can ask questions and obtain additional information without any pressure. It's up to you. Contact us today!
